The 6th Annual
MorganFranklin
Golf Classic
HONOR OUR NATION'S GREATEST CITIZENS
On August 30, 2010, honor our nation’s greatest citizens at the sixth annual MorganFranklin Golf Classic benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. Together we can show these brave
warriors that their fellow citizens appreciate their dedication to the nation.
From battlefield to bedside, the Wounded Warrior Project assists those men and women of the armed forces who have been severely injured in conflicts around the world. Returning to civilian life, they face greater challenges in obtaining assistance and finding opportunities to provide for themselves and their families.
To date, the MorganFranklin Golf Classic has donated more than $332,000 in cash and
in-kind contributions to the
Wounded Warrior Project in support of its mission to:
- Provide free assistance to veterans attempting to obtain benefits
from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and other agencies. - Represent veterans on state and federal legislative issues.
- Work with business and government leaders to ensure
that veterans
are given equal opportunity in hiring practices. - Provide outreach to modern veterans through programs and
services
that address their unique needs.
